adaptogens = powerful plants

Adaptogens are compounds found in herbs and roots of powerful plants.  They have been used in herbal medicine for centuries and are said to perform many functions in the body to help its ability to respond and overcome the influences of physical, chemical or biological stress that may lead to serious health conditions.  In theory, adaptogens recognize and “adapt” to the specific needs of your body in order to assist in achieving homeostasis -- essentially normalizing or regulating the body.  Each powerful plant used in these ancient Ayurvedic, Chinese, or traditional European medicinal practices elicits distinctive functions to promote health and well-being.

We use a combination of these awesome plants with fruits, water and bubbles (for good measure) in ROCKAWAY. Please learn about individual benefits of Coastal Immunity, Tidal Defense, Endless Summer Energy and Last Stop Chill below.
